Chanel Quality Control Laboratory Technician (Fixed-term contract) in Venette, France. Conduct analytical testing on perfumery products.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute physicochemical and analytical testing of raw materials, fragrance concentrates, semi-finished products, and finished perfumery goods in accordance with established procedures and defined priorities
- Analyse and assess quality control test results, identifying deviations and contributing to corrective actions
- Conduct olfactory evaluations of perfumery products as required by the role's scope
- Perform first-level maintenance on analytical equipment and instruments including titrators, spectrophotometers, HPLC, gas chromatography, and mass spectrometry systems
- Manage laboratory operations including consumables inventory, equipment management, reference materials, and documentation systems
- Participate in quality referential deployment, development of new control methodologies, and internal audit activities
Qualifications
- Diploma or advanced technical certification (Bac+2/3) in chemistry or chemical analysis
- Approximately 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience
- Proficiency with analytical equipment: titrator, spectrophotometer, HPLC, gas chromatography, and mass spectrometry
- Demonstrated rigor, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven adaptability and inclination toward operational versatility
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative team mentality

Experience
Approximately 2 years of laboratory experience in chemical analysis or quality control, preferably within the perfumery, cosmetics, or related industries.
Education
Bac+2 or Bac+3 diploma in chemistry, chemical analysis, or related scientific discipline.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Venette, Oise, France, with easy access to Compiègne.
