Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the quality assurance team in the testing and release of fragrances and beauty products across development and production phases.
  • Execute and document laboratory analyses and stability studies under established protocols; record results and prepare technical summaries.
  • Assist in the investigation of non-conformances and deviations, contributing to root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain and organise samples, test records and quality files in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, packaging and supply-chain teams to ensure product specifications and quality milestones are met.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects to optimise test methods, documentation practices and laboratory efficiency.
  • Participate in internal audits and support external supplier quality activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology or equivalent.
  • Practical laboratory experience (academic or industrial) with analytical methods and good experimental technique.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and rigorous documentation habits.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical results clearly.
  • Proactive, organized and capable of managing competing priorities in a regulated environment.

Skills

HPLC GC / GC-MS UV-Vis spectrophotometry Microsoft Excel Minitab Stability testing Good Manufacturing Practices (e.g. ISO 22716) Familiarity with EU Cosmetics Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009)

Experience

Internship-level role intended for students; prior laboratory or industrial experience in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals is an advantage but not mandatory.

Education

Enrolled in a relevant technical degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology or a closely related discipline.
