Chanel is hiring a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager — Fashion Jewelry and Belts in Paris. Responsible for supplier quality, inspections and CI projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain and enforce quality standards, specifications and control plans for fashion jewelry and belts throughout development and production.
  • Lead supplier quality management: approve suppliers, conduct audits, define sampling plans (AQL), and manage incoming inspection protocols.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D/CAPA) for non-conformances, ensuring timely closure and recurrence prevention.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects (Lean/Kaizen principles) to reduce defects, scrap and cost while improving process capability and delivery.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with design, product development, sourcing, industrialization and production to ensure manufacturability and compliance with technical files.
  • Monitor and report quality KPIs, trends and financial impact; present findings and improvement plans to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee and coach a small quality team or coordinate external quality resources; provide training on inspection, testing and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in product quality and continuous improvement within jewelry, accessories or closely related luxury manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in root-cause methodologies (8D, Ishikawa), CAPA implementation and statistical problem-solving.
  • Experience with supplier quality systems, audits and sampling methodologies (AQL) for small components and assemblies.
  • Strong project leadership and stakeholder management in cross‑functional international environments.
  • Fluent technical literacy of product specifications, inspection techniques and testing protocols for plated metals, alloys, fastenings and trims.
