Chanel in Neuilly‑sur‑Seine seeks an Alternance Proxy Product Owner Assistant for Explore & Connect — work‑study position in digital product.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Proxy Product Owner in defining and prioritising the product backlog for the Explore & Connect digital initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional squads — designers, engineers, data and commercial teams — to translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Assist in sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives; ensure tickets are groomed, estimated and ready for development.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and consolidate feedback for iteration cycles.
- Monitor feature delivery, track KPIs and prepare concise status reports and stakeholder communications.
- Contribute to user research synthesis and help maintain product documentation in Confluence or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a higher education programme in digital product management, computer science, UX/UI design, business or a closely related discipline (alternance/work‑study contract).
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and product lifecycle concepts.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills; ability to produce clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Organised, proactive and able to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfort with data‑informed decision making and elementary metrics analysis.
Skills
Experience
Previous internship or project experience within a digital product, e‑commerce or technology team is strongly preferred; demonstrable involvement in product discovery, backlog grooming or sprint ceremonies will be an advantage.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme (or equivalent) in digital product management, computer science, UX/UI, business or a related field; eligible for French alternance/work‑study contract.
