Chanel is seeking a Project Manager in Geneva to oversee the opening and operation of a pop-up store. This full-time role requires expertise in retail project management within the luxury sector.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall project timeline, including concept development, construction, recruitment, training, communication, visual merchandising, and animation.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders such as logistics, retail operations, IT, finance, security, marketing, visual merchandising, and learning.
  • Oversee and support agencies and companies responsible for store planning and construction.
  • Manage the project budget, ensuring adherence to allocated funds and reporting to management.
  • Ensure a seamless store opening in collaboration with local and regional retail operations, covering IT equipment, store procedures, logistics, and product reception.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the store team on operational matters.
  • Facilitate the deployment of in-store services, including appointments, store line management, and alterations.
  • Collaborate with local marketing to develop a customer activation calendar, defining needs and objectives for collection events and brand experiences.
  • Actively participate in the planning and execution of store events, from briefing to cross-functional orchestration and production follow-up.
  • Analyze event outcomes and share insights with local and regional teams.
  • Coordinate the store closure, including logistics, dismantling, and supplier contract termination.
  • Draft a post-mortem report with recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in project management, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in retail and/or event project management, preferably in the luxury or premium sector.

Skills

Strong understanding of retail and operational challenges. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset. Proficiency in French and English, with German being an advantage.

Experience

3 to 6 years of experience in retail and/or event project management, ideally within the luxury or premium sector.

Education

Master's degree in project management, marketing, or equivalent.
