Chanel Parfums Beauté seeks Ingredient Development Specialist in Pantin, France. 10-month contract role overseeing active ingredient sourcing and regulatory compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise analysis and risk management associated with selection, development, and sourcing of active raw materials, collaborating closely with scientific, regulatory, toxicological, procurement, and sustainability teams
- Ensure compliance, quality, safety, efficacy, and sustainability standards for all raw materials
- Coordinate ingredient development projects from experimental phase through regulatory approval
- Pilot raw material forecasting to secure supply chain continuity
- Manage prioritization and technical-regulatory documentation to achieve ingredient approval aligned with selection strategy
- Contribute to technical-regulatory file security for supplier-sourced actives
- Serve as quality liaison for the IDM laboratory through close collaboration with internal process and analysis teams to ensure quality requirements and operational implementation
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in biochemistry, cosmetics, pharmacy, or equivalent
- Minimum two years of experience in cosmetic active ingredient development, phytochemistry, or related field
- Knowledge of raw material development, toxicology, biology, and natural ingredient regulations
- Project management expertise
- Fluent English communication skills
- Rigorous, organized approach with strong analytical capability

Education
