Chanel in New York is hiring a Product Operations Associate. Join the product operations team to manage PLM data, launches and SKU governance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and enrich product master data across PLM/ERP channels to ensure accuracy for merchandising, supply chain and retail teams.
- Support seasonal product launches by coordinating timelines, technical files, sample flows and cross‑functional handovers.
- Implement and enforce product data governance standards, including SKU setup, taxonomy, attributes and barcoding.
- Liaise with design, production, merchandising and logistics to resolve product discrepancies and expedite critical issues.
- Prepare and distribute operational documentation and reports (launch trackers, SKU reconciliations, exception logs) to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline product operations processes and reduce time-to-market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, fashion merchandising, supply chain, or related discipline preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in product operations, merchandising support, supply‑chain coordination or a related retail/brand operations function.
- Demonstrable attention to detail and strong data quality mindset; experience with SKU setup and product attributes.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders and manage competing launch priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational habits.
- Fluency with Microsoft Excel; experience with PLM systems or ERP environments is highly desirable.
