Chanel seeks a Product Manager in Palo Alto to lead product strategy, development and launches for assigned categories.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategy and assortment plans for assigned categories, aligned to Chanel’s brand positioning and commercial objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept and assortment planning through development, launch and sell‑through.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional activity with design, merchandising, production, sourcing, supply chain and retail teams to ensure timely, on‑brand execution.
  • Translate consumer insights and sales data into actionable product decisions, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Manage product calendars, launch priorities and go‑to‑market sequences across channels (flagship, wholesale, e‑commerce).
  • Monitor commercial performance and inventory flow; implement corrective actions to maximise sell‑through and margin.
  • Maintain rigorous quality and brand standards for materials, fit, and packaging; escalate product or supply issues as needed.
  • Act as primary business contact for internal stakeholders and external partners related to product specifications, costing and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Proven commercial acumen within premium or luxury fashion/consumer goods environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional leadership skills; ability to influence design, supply and retail teams.
  • Solid analytical capability with experience using sales and inventory data to drive merchandising decisions.
  • Excellent organisational skills; comfortable managing multiple projects and strict timelines across seasons.
  • High standards of attention to detail and an appreciation for luxury product craftsmanship.
  • Fluent English; additional language skills (French) viewed favorably.
