Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and inspire a diverse sales team to deliver an elevated client experience across all clientele
- Foster a positive working environment centered on feedback, diversity, mutual respect, and collaborative teamwork
- Provide comprehensive initial and ongoing training and development for team members, encompassing Chanel savoir faire, product details, and service excellence
- Drive all aspects of the assigned Handbags and Small Leather Goods product category, including analysis, reporting, assortment planning, and strategic partnership with Home Office buying teams
- Lead the team with agility and resilience by applying key performance indicators and lessons learned to enhance both team and business performance
- Represent Chanel in the market by developing the client base through community involvement, partnerships with local businesses, and orchestration of social and seasonal events
- Ensure boutique image and operational standards are maintained while building collaborative relationships with the Boutique Director
- Work closely with the Boutique Director to impart critical business knowledge and drive category-specific business results
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant retail or luxury product management experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach diverse teams
- Comprehensive understanding of and passion for client experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of driving sales and business metrics
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Passion for Chanel's heritage, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of related experience in retail operations, product management, or luxury goods sector. Candidates with experience managing handbags, leather goods, or similar premium product categories are particularly valued. Demonstrated success coaching and developing sales teams in a boutique or high-end retail environment is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant professional qualifications or certifications in retail management or business are advantageous but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 87,500 to USD 110,000 per annum.
