Chanel in Paris seeks a Product Manager, AI — Client & Digital (fixed-term) to lead AI-driven client initiatives and digital roadmaps.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy and roadmap for AI-driven client and digital initiatives; translate business objectives into prioritized features and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, UX designers and CRM teams to specify requirements, supervise development cycles and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Oversee implementation of machine learning features and integrations (APIs, data pipelines, CDP/CRM touchpoints), coordinating pilots and phased rollouts.
- Design and manage experimentation frameworks (A/B testing), establish KPIs, monitor performance and iterate based on quantitative insights and client feedback.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security requirements (e.g., GDPR) and work with legal and compliance stakeholders on risk mitigation.
- Manage stakeholder communications across business, marketing and retail operations, and coordinate external vendors or technology partners as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management for digital platforms, with hands-on responsibility for AI or machine-learning features.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and user-centric product specifications.
- Demonstrated experience running experiments, defining success metrics and using data to drive prioritisation decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience liaising between technical and commercial teams.
- Prior exposure to clienteling, CRM or e-commerce ecosystems — preferably within luxury retail or premium consumer brands.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years in product management with at least 1–2 years leading AI/ML initiatives; experience in digital client or CRM projects and familiarity with luxury retail contexts preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business or related field; advanced degree (MSc/MBA) preferred but not required.
