Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-functional skincare development projects across the Beauty & Fragrance division in alignment with 3-year marketing plans, coordinating multidisciplinary teams (International Marketing, R&D, Procurement, Packaging, Manufacturing) from marketing brief through first industrial production
  • Develop feasibility studies to ensure coherence between marketing briefs, functional solutions, timelines, and costs
  • Guide product design using risk analysis methodology to align with feasibility outcomes
  • Prepare project reporting for governance bodies (COP and Project Committee) to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Oversee project timelines and ensure compliance with key milestones: feasibility review, design review, and industrialization review
  • Challenge cross-functional stakeholders to maintain equilibrium between project objectives, resource allocation, risk analysis, and proposed solutions
  • Control unit cost of goods and project budgets to ensure cost efficiency
  • Guarantee adherence to Chanel's development processes through training new project team members
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in product development processes

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent (Bac +5): engineering, business school, or university degree
  • Confirmed experience of 2–5 years in project management, specifically as a Product Development Project Manager or in technical roles (formulation, packaging, or manufacturing)
  • Demonstrated interest in cosmetic products and product development methodologies
  • Proficiency in cross-functional team leadership and coordination
  • Strong relational and technical competencies in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Creativity, drive, analytical capability, and problem-solving orientation in collaborative settings
  • Emotional intelligence, relationship-building ability, agility, persuasiveness, stress management, and versatility
