Chanel seeks a Product Assessment Associate in Piscataway, NJ to manage after-sales operations, repair assessments, and spare parts coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform daily assessments on incoming stock and client repairs, ensuring work is completed within established lead times
- Execute proper authentication and product identification procedures as part of the assessment process
- Prioritize repairs requiring heightened attention, including newly purchased items and client escalations
- Coordinate with client relations and workshop teams to determine repair feasibility and service selection
- Organize and manage spare parts ordering and inventory, communicating with global teams regarding deliveries and delays
- Arrange shipment of repairs to global locations on a weekly schedule and coordinate with customs teams on clearance matters
- Monitor repairs with extended lead times through physical audits and communicate delays to retail teams
- Process stock repairs within selling standards, including inventory transfers and claim resolution
- Identify and escalate quality issues to management to ensure appropriate handling and resolution
- Assist with cycle counts related to spare parts inventory and global repair locations
- Support manager on emerging assessment activities and operational needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of related experience in operations, retail, or client experience roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working within ERP and operational systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proven attention to detail and organizational ability
- Bachelor's degree preferred
