Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Tokyo fragrance & beauty PR team with daily media relations tasks, including maintaining media lists and distributing product samples to editorial contacts.
- Draft and proofread press materials: press releases, product briefs, media advisories and pitch emails.
- Coordinate logistics for press events, product launches, influencer gifting and store activations, liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Monitor press coverage and social media, compile clippings and prepare regular coverage reports and media summaries.
- Assist with influencer outreach and ambassador programmes, tracking deliverables and managing sample inventories.
- Provide administrative support to the PR team: scheduling, expense tracking and database upkeep.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or a related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear, polished copy and professional correspondence.
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Discretion, professionalism and an understanding of luxury brand standards.
- Proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Skills
Experience
Prior internship or coursework in PR, communications, fashion or beauty is advantageous but not required; demonstrable interest in luxury beauty and lifestyle media is expected.
Education
University level in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field (enrolled or recent graduate).
