Chanel seeks a PR Intern in Copenhagen — support CHANEL Denmark's media relations, events and press activities in a luxury communications role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Denmark PR team with daily media relations tasks, including drafting and distributing press releases, pitches and localized press materials.
- Maintain and update the local media and influencer database; coordinate sample and press-kit logistics with boutiques and regional offices.
- Monitor press coverage and compile regular clipping reports and media analyses for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the planning and on-site execution of press appointments, events and product launches, liaising with event suppliers and venues.
- Provide administrative support for the PR team: calendar management, expense documentation, coordination with international communications teams and ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to produce clear, polished press materials.
- Strong organisational skills, discretion handling confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in fashion, luxury and lifestyle media; professional demeanour appropriate for high-profile events and meetings.
Skills
Experience
Previous internship or work experience in PR, communications, journalism or within the fashion/luxury sector is desirable but not mandatory. Practical exposure to media outreach, event support or editorial environments will be advantageous.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
