Chanel Tokyo seeks a Power Platform Intern to support Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI development for digital and retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the design, development and maintenance of low‑code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI) to address operational and retail use cases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, prototype solutions and translate needs into functional specifications and data models.
- Build and test Power Apps interfaces, automate business processes with Power Automate flows, and contribute to Power BI dataset and report creation.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint and external systems via REST APIs and connectors; assist with data transformation and SQL queries as required.
- Document development work, update technical runbooks, support user acceptance testing and prepare basic training materials for end users.
- Follow governance, security and change‑management practices; escalate issues and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, demonstrated through coursework, projects or internships.
- Working knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and basic SQL; exposure to Azure services and REST API integration is advantageous.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Effective communicator and team player, able to work with cross‑functional stakeholders in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment.
- Professionalism, discretion and a commitment to brand quality are essential; Japanese language proficiency is advantageous for a Tokyo‑based assignment.

Experience
Practical experience through academic projects, personal development or short internships building low‑code applications, automation flows or data visualisations. Prior exposure to enterprise environments or retail processes is a plus; no extensive professional experience required.
