Chanel apprenticeship: Polymechanic (CFC) position in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Four-year federal vocational program combining classroom and on-site training.
Role & Responsibilities
- Fabricate precision metal components, tools, and devices according to technical specifications
- Operate and program computer numerical control (CNC) machinery and advanced machining centers
- Assemble and integrate mechanical apparatus, machines, and production systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for machining operations
- Perform quality control inspections and troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Maintain and service production equipment and tools
- Apply knowledge of machining processes, materials science, thermal treatments, and metallurgy
Qualifications
- Completion of compulsory secondary education
- Strong proficiency in mathematics
- Demonstrated aptitude for technical drawing and mechanical engineering

Completion of compulsory Swiss secondary education with strong mathematics foundation. The apprenticeship leads to a Federal Certificate of Competency (CFC) in Polymechanics with technical maturity.
