Chanel apprenticeship: Polymechanic (CFC) position in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Four-year federal vocational program combining classroom and on-site training.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Fabricate precision metal components, tools, and devices according to technical specifications
  • Operate and program computer numerical control (CNC) machinery and advanced machining centers
  • Assemble and integrate mechanical apparatus, machines, and production systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for machining operations
  • Perform quality control inspections and troubleshoot mechanical systems
  • Maintain and service production equipment and tools
  • Apply knowledge of machining processes, materials science, thermal treatments, and metallurgy
