CHANEL Yorkdale boutique seeks a full-time Phones and Cashier Support professional in North York, Canada to manage customer inquiries and retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming telephone inquiries in a professional, timely, and courteous manner, accurately documenting and delivering messages to Fashion Advisors
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships over the telephone by responding promptly to internal and external queries and keeping clients appropriately informed
- Process cash transactions precisely at the point of sale and assist with cashier station management
- Prepare, stock, and maintain cash and wrap stations to ensure optimal readiness throughout service hours
- Prepare packaging and assist with gift wrapping parcels according to boutique standards
- Provide responsive and courteous support to colleagues across the boutique and head office, addressing requests from clients, management, and internal stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with peers and management across multiple boutiques and departments to coordinate activities and resolve inquiries
- Maintain a helpful, supportive, and flexible demeanor; demonstrate reliability and adaptability to evolving business demands
- Uphold absolute confidentiality regarding the company's commercial activities and internal affairs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of demonstrated customer service experience, with retail operations or phone-based customer service preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French fluency is an advantage
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and follow-up capabilities
- Comfortable collaborating across different departments and teams
- Willingness to work retail business hours, including weekends, and flexibility to accommodate out-of-hours requirements as needed
