Chanel seeks a Perfume & Beauty Counter Manager in Changsha to lead a luxury cosmetics team, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the perfume & beauty counter team to achieve sales targets, conversion rates and KPIs for Chanel fragrance and cosmetics in the Changsha location.
- Develop and maintain high standards of clienteling and personalised service, ensuring exceptional face-to-face experiences and long-term client relationships.
- Own counter operations including stock control, merchandising, visual presentation, pricing integrity, opening/closing procedures and cash reconciliation.
- Coach, train and mentor beauty advisers on product knowledge, makeup and fragrance techniques, sales methodology and brand service standards.
- Manage recruitment, rostering and performance management; conduct regular briefings and performance reviews.
- Control inventory, oversee deliveries, manage shrinkage prevention and liaise with regional supply-chain and logistics teams to ensure stock availability.
- Implement brand visual merchandising directives and local activations; coordinate in-store events and product launches in collaboration with regional marketing.
- Produce timely sales and operational reports for district/regional management and participate in business reviews to inform commercial strategy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury beauty or prestige cosmetics retail, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving client retention in a high-end retail environment.
- Deep product knowledge of fragrance and cosmetics, with strong skills in makeup application and scent consultation.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in coaching, performance management and staff development.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and commercial acumen.
- Professional presentation and a customer-centric mindset; ability to represent the Chanel brand with discretion and sophistication.
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese with effective spoken communication; proficiency in English is an advantage.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in luxury fragrance or cosmetics retail, including at least one year managing a counter or small retail team within a prestige brand.
Education
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, hospitality or a related field preferred.
