Chanel seeks a Contract Packaging Sector Manager — Skincare in Compiègne. Lead packaging operations and industrialization for the Parfums & Beauté division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day packaging operations for skincare products on the assigned production sector, ensuring on‑time output and adherence to forecasted volumes.
- Lead, coach and allocate work for the sector team; define staffing, shift organization and productivity objectives.
- Drive packaging industrialization and launch activities: validate line setups, formats, tooling and packaging trials in collaboration with R&D and industrialization teams.
- Ensure product quality and regulatory compliance with cosmetic GMP (ISO 22716) and internal quality standards; conduct inspections and oversee corrective actions.
- Coordinate with supply chain, procurement and external suppliers to secure materials, manage shortages and control packaging costs.
- Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste and improve OEE of packaging lines.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis and lead cross‑functional problem‑solving to restore and stabilize lines.
- Maintain production documentation, traceability records and report sector performance metrics to site management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in packaging engineering, industrial engineering, cosmetics science or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven leadership experience in packaging operations within cosmetics, personal care or FMCG manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (ISO 22716) for packaging.
- Demonstrated experience in packaging industrialization, line validation and supplier coordination.
- Solid competence in production planning, quality assurance and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience
Minimum five years of progressive experience in packaging operations or industrialization, preferably within cosmetics, skincare or FMCG; demonstrable experience managing packaging lines, launches and cross‑functional supplier relationships.
Education
Degree in packaging engineering, industrial engineering, cosmetic science or equivalent professional experience.
