Chanel Packaging Quality Intern – Vittuone, Italy. Six-month luxury leather goods packaging internship focused on sustainability and product protection.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive packaging analysis for all leather goods and small leather product categories
- Map packaging components including materials, formats, suppliers, usage volumes, and costs
- Identify and propose solutions to rationalize packaging practices, reduce waste, and optimize timelines and costs
- Collaborate with internal laboratories and suppliers to conduct transport tests and validate new packaging designs
- Analyze quality needs and risks, actively participating in global performance improvement plans
- Develop new packaging solutions in coordination with the Paris-based design team
- Ensure alignment with Chanel values and established behavioral standards throughout all activities
- Foster team dynamics and maintain a collaborative environment focused on collective results and individual wellbeing
- Participate in meetings organized in both Paris and Italy
- Promote cross-functional collaboration among teams
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in engineering school or equivalent university program
- Specialization in packaging, supply chain, engineering, sustainable development, or procurement preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and data synthesis capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Meticulous attention to detail with demonstrated interest in industrial, logistical, and environmental topics
- Proactive mindset with strong critical thinking and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including in international contexts
- Fluent French language skills; English language proficiency considered an asset

The successful candidate will be located in Vittuone, Lombardy, Italy, with easy access to Milan.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 900 per month.
