Chanel in Neuilly-sur-Seine seeks a Packaging Engineer apprentice (Parfums Beauté) starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support packaging development for fragrance and cosmetic products from concept through industrialisation.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings and sample briefs; coordinate prototype cycles and organise testing.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality, regulatory, supply chain and external suppliers to ensure manufacturability, cost control and compliance.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives by evaluating materials, recyclability and weight/volume optimisation.
- Maintain documentation, BOMs and project trackers; assist in supplier sourcing and technical meetings.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering or technical programme (packaging, materials, industrial, mechanical or equivalent) at Bac+4/5 level or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of packaging materials and production processes relevant to cosmetics and perfumery.
- Strong technical drafting skills and attention to detail; aptitude for laboratory or bench testing procedures.
- Good organisational skills, proactive communication and ability to work within cross‑functional teams.

Experience
No specific professional experience required beyond academic coursework; previous internships in packaging, cosmetics, materials science or related fields are advantageous.
Education
Enrolled in an engineering or technical degree program (packaging, materials, industrial or mechanical engineering) at undergraduate/graduate level.
