Chanel seeks a Packaging Development Coordinator in Neuilly-Sur-Seine for a four-month contract role supporting makeup packaging innovation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build and update nomenclatures in the PLM system (Team Center)
- Collect and validate technical data from suppliers regarding materials, processes, and technical documentation
- Develop and complete component specifications
- Update and disseminate documentation throughout product development cycles
- Track soft-pack (secondary packaging) development, including validation of decorative elements, BAG approval records, and supplier coordination
- Monitor development schedules and manage preseries procurement
- Organize on-site supplier visits to attend BAT launches and production setup
- Coordinate homologation and industrialization processes for new packaging formats
- Track quality assurance elements (BAT, color swatches, defect samples) and distribute to suppliers and site quality teams
- Manage sample tracking for homologation testing
- Lead collection development under engineering supervision
Qualifications
- Degree qualification (Bac+3 maximum, ideally with packaging specialization)
- Professional-level English proficiency
- Familiarity with Team Center and AW software tools (preferred)
- Demonstrated rigor, curiosity, and collaborative mindset
Skills
Experience
Ideally one or more years of packaging development experience within a supplier organization or luxury brand.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) or equivalent, ideally with specialization in packaging or related technical field.
