Chanel seeks a Packaging Compliance Engineer for a five-month contract role in Pantin, leading homologation projects for luxury fragrances and beauty products.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a technician team responsible for packaging homologation, including compatibility and functionality testing
  • Validate homologation plans to identify risks and ensure appropriate test protocols are implemented correctly
  • Evaluate non-conformities through supplementary testing of existing and competitive products
  • Analyze and verify all test results and homologation summaries within established timelines
  • Provide technical support and coaching to team members, facilitating collaboration between homologation and packaging development departments

Qualifications

  • Degree from an engineering school or equivalent higher education institution
  • Minimum three years of professional experience in packaging development
  • Preferred first-hand management or supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated curiosity, dynamism, and proactive initiative-taking
  • Strong organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
