Chanel seeks a Packaging Compliance Engineer for a five-month contract role in Pantin, leading homologation projects for luxury fragrances and beauty products.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a technician team responsible for packaging homologation, including compatibility and functionality testing
- Validate homologation plans to identify risks and ensure appropriate test protocols are implemented correctly
- Evaluate non-conformities through supplementary testing of existing and competitive products
- Analyze and verify all test results and homologation summaries within established timelines
- Provide technical support and coaching to team members, facilitating collaboration between homologation and packaging development departments
Qualifications
- Degree from an engineering school or equivalent higher education institution
- Minimum three years of professional experience in packaging development
- Preferred first-hand management or supervisory experience
- Demonstrated curiosity, dynamism, and proactive initiative-taking
- Strong organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
