Chanel seeks an Order Management Specialist in New York, NY to manage order processing, client service and fulfillment for high-value clientele.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end order lifecycle: receipt, validation, allocation, invoicing and fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with retail, distribution, logistics and client services to resolve order exceptions, stock discrepancies and delivery issues.
- Perform order reconciliations, data entry and system updates in the Order Management System (OMS) and supporting platforms; maintain audit-ready records.
- Serve as a primary contact for internal stakeholders and clients on order status, delivery schedules, billing questions and returns/exchanges.
- Identify process gaps and propose efficiency improvements to reduce lead-times and error rates while maintaining Chanel’s service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in order management, order-to-cash processes or retail operations; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail, with demonstrated experience reconciling orders and resolving discrepancies.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to liaise with internal teams and high-value clients with discretion.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet analysis (advanced Excel) and comfort learning enterprise systems (OMS/ERP).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics or related field preferred or equivalent professional experience.
