Chanel is hiring an Operations Supervisor for Chanel & Moi in Singapore to oversee boutique operations, inventory and frontline teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure flawless daily boutique operations — opening/closing procedures, cash handling, point-of-sale accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Supervise and coach frontline staff to deliver elevated client service, maintain clienteling standards and exceed boutique sales KPIs.
- Manage inventory integrity: receiving, stock control, shrinkage prevention, cycle counts and coordinating transfers with regional distribution.
- Maintain boutique presentation and visual merchandising standards in collaboration with visual teams; implement promotions and product launches.
- Produce and deliver regular operational reports to regional management; analyse basic KPIs and propose corrective actions to improve performance.
- Enforce loss-prevention protocols, security procedures and regulatory requirements; act as first point of escalation for operational incidents.
- Coordinate schedules, training and performance feedback; support recruitment and onboarding of boutique team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in luxury retail operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead role.
- Proven track record of managing inventory control, cash procedures and loss-prevention measures in a boutique environment.
- Strong leadership presence with demonstrated ability to develop, motivate and hold a retail team accountable to high-service standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.
- Legal authorization to work in Singapore and flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years of progressive experience in luxury retail operations, including supervisory responsibility for frontline staff, inventory management, and daily boutique processes.
Education
Diploma or degree in business, retail management, hospitality or a related discipline preferred; high-school diploma or equivalent required.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Singapore, Central, Singapore.
