Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily boutique operations within the Neiman Marcus San Francisco location, ensuring rigorous adherence to Chanel retail standards and visual guidelines.
- Manage inventory flow: receipt, tagging, stock replenishment, cycle counts and reconciliation to minimise shrink and ensure merchandise availability.
- Coordinate with Neiman Marcus store leadership and Chanel regional teams to align operations, deliveries, promotional activity and events.
- Own scheduling, timekeeping, and frontline workforce organisation to optimise coverage for sales peaks, client appointments and events.
- Implement loss-prevention procedures and ensure compliance with cash-handling, POS and company security policies.
- Track and report operational KPIs, prepare regular performance and inventory reports, and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Support clienteling and CRM initiatives by ensuring sales team access to information, appointment workflows and private-client service protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or management experience in luxury retail or department-store environments; experience managing a boutique inside a wholesale partner preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory processes, shrink control and merchandising compliance with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the capacity to liaise effectively between Chanel regional teams and Neiman Marcus store management.
- Leadership aptitude with experience in scheduling, coaching frontline staff and promoting a service-oriented sales culture.
- Proficiency with retail reporting and basic spreadsheet analysis; comfort working with POS and inventory management systems.

Typically requires 3–5 years of progressively responsible retail operations or boutique management experience in the luxury fashion sector or within premium department stores; prior experience working with shop-in-shop or wholesale retail partners (e.g., Neiman Marcus) is advantageous.
Education
