Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the back-office team (Stock, Aftersales, Cash, and Administration functions), fostering collaboration and alignment with Chanel's strategic vision
  • Manage inventory operations, including preparation and optimization of annual inventory cycles in partnership with the Stock Manager
  • Oversee aftersales operations to ensure optimal client satisfaction and adherence to Chanel standards
  • Analyze boutique sales performance and key performance indicators on a regular basis, proactively identifying trends and proposing action plans
  • Collaborate with Boutique Management on KPI analysis for each business category, including monthly coverage, sell-through rates, and slow-moving inventory
  • Support buying decisions through detailed analysis in coordination with the Head Office buying function
  • Implement and monitor cash procedures and guidelines according to Chanel standards with the support of the Cashier Manager
  • Manage staff scheduling to comply with legal requirements and Chanel protocols, while overseeing police and mall permits with the Administration Supervisor
  • Establish and maintain security devices and procedures to protect boutique assets, merchandise, and personnel
  • Monitor boutique expenditures to ensure adherence to allocated budgets
  • Represent Chanel standards to external stakeholders, including mall management, and ensure implementation of boutique procedures and the boutique Charter
  • Drive projects and initiatives that embody the Chanel brand vision and values

Qualifications

  • Natural leadership and strong managerial skills with proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in retail operations, inventory management, and back-office functions
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and KPI analysis
  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented approach with rigorous execution capabilities
  • Proven ability to adapt to dynamic environments and lead with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in luxury retail or high-end retail environments
  • Project management experience with a proven track record of successful execution

Experience

Minimum 5–7 years of operations management experience in luxury or high-end retail, with demonstrated success in leading back-office teams, managing inventory operations, and optimizing boutique performance through analytical rigor and strategic collaboration.

Education

Secondary education minimum; tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management, Retail Operations, or a related field is preferred.
