Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee day-to-day retail operations across the Middle East region, driving consistency with global operational standards and local regulations.
- Manage store performance through KPI tracking, sales optimisation initiatives, inventory control and shrinkage mitigation.
- Implement and maintain operational policies, loss-prevention procedures and audit readiness across boutiques.
- Coordinate cross-functional programmes with commercial, clienteling, visual merchandising and HR teams to align operational plans with commercial objectives.
- Develop regional training plans and coach store leadership to elevate operational discipline, customer service and compliance.
- Own project delivery for roll-outs (new store openings, refurbishments, system upgrades) and manage relationships with landlords, vendors and service providers.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership and recommend corrective actions to meet revenue and margin targets.
- Manage travel and on-site support across the region to ensure sustained operational standards and rapid issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership with strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Commercial acuity with ability to interpret KPIs and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Rigorous attention to operational detail, compliance and loss-prevention best practices.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead projects and change management across multiple retail locations.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the Middle East region.
Skills
Experience
Typically requires 5+ years of progressive responsibility in luxury or premium retail operations, including demonstrable experience managing multi-site operations or a regional remit within the Middle East or GCC markets.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or related discipline; advanced degree (MBA) or professional certifications preferred.
