Chanel internship: Operations Assistant Manager at the Nice boutique, 6-month stage beginning January 2027. Retail operations and analytics.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Manager in monitoring and analysing retail performance indicators (traffic, average basket value, monthly targets by product line)
  • Analyse sales performance of individual consultants and optimise team productivity
  • Evaluate product and collection performance (sell-through rates, inventory coverage, best-sellers and slow-movers, merchandising visibility)
  • Support preparation of inventory for new collections and track resulting sales
  • Conduct detailed analyses to support managers across sales, visual merchandising, and alterations functions
  • Ensure optimal employee experience in the boutique by onboarding new team members and providing daily operational support
  • Assist in preparation of team briefings and share relevant performance insights
  • Support the Operations Manager in managing general services to maintain boutique brand standards

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a business school, engineering school, or university programme
  • Minimum 6 months of professional experience in analytical roles (management, finance, marketing) and/or retail boutique experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions and formulas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • VBA programming knowledge is advantageous

Experience
