Chanel — Neuilly‑sur‑Seine: Operation SOC Architect role to design and lead SOC architecture, detection engineering and incident response.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, design and evolve the enterprise SOC architecture to support detection, investigation and response across cloud and on‑premise environments.
  • Lead integration and deployment of telemetry ingestion, SIEM and SOAR platforms, threat intelligence feeds and log management solutions.
  • Develop and maintain detection engineering, incident response playbooks and operational runbooks aligned with threat models and business risk.
  • Drive automation and orchestration of repetitive workflows to reduce time‑to‑detect and time‑to‑remediate; establish measurable KPIs and dashboards for SOC performance.
  • Collaborate with security, IT operations, cloud, application and business teams to embed monitoring and secure design patterns across projects.
  • Evaluate vendors and proof‑of‑concepts, manage solution roadmaps and provide technical leadership for platform upgrades and migrations.
  • Coach and mentor SOC engineers and incident responders; establish standards for alerts, triage, escalation and post‑incident reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or equivalent technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIA, GCIH or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of security operations principles, detection engineering and incident response methodologies.
  • Proven ability to translate business risk into technical requirements and to lead cross‑functional technical projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a closely related field; a master’s degree or equivalent professional certifications preferred.
