Net Zero Data Analyst internship at Chanel in Paris, starting January 2027. Support climate data analysis and Net Zero roadmap deployment across Europe.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse historical carbon footprint data to identify trends, emission drivers, and reduction opportunities
- Produce comparative analyses across European markets to inform strategic action levers for local and business teams
- Contribute to forward-looking scenario analyses assessing various carbon footprint reduction pathways, supported by the Net Zero Manager
- Support the deployment and monitoring of reduction initiatives spanning operations, energy, and media channels
- Consolidate, validate, and analyse data required for Climate Transition Plan reporting and stakeholder communication
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data structuring, processing, and multi-dimensional analysis
- Demonstrated ability to synthesise quantitative analyses and present findings clearly via PowerPoint and written communication
- Analytical rigour, intellectual autonomy, and meticulous documentation of methodological reasoning
- Genuine intellectual engagement with climate, environmental, or organisational transformation topics
- Fluent French and English, both written and spoken

No prior professional experience is required; candidates should demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and a clear commitment to sustainability-focused work.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a graduate-level programme in environmental science, sustainability, data science, business analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
