Chanel MLOps / AI Platform Engineer position in Geneva, Switzerland – 6-month contract to build and maintain AI infrastructure and cloud platforms.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in building and evolving the AI platform across the full application and services lifecycle
- Define and implement standards for Python library packaging, versioning, and distribution
- Design, maintain, and standardize CI/CD pipelines for all team projects
- Evaluate and improve dependency management and environment tools, ensuring reliable workflows between local development environments and Databricks
- Administer production databases with focus on performance, security, and scalability
- Participate in data integration and governance within the Databricks and Unity Catalog ecosystem
- Design and develop internal applications from architecture through cloud deployment
- Develop user-facing interfaces for accessing AI applications, models, and services
- Industrialize machine learning model retraining, deployment, and monitoring processes
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies for libraries, applications, and critical workflows
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software engineering and MLOps best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, cloud computing, or equivalent field
- Proven experience in software development, cloud platforms, or data engineering with interest in AI and industrialization
- Fluent in both French and English
- Strong proficiency in Python, Git, SQL, CI/CD practices, software architecture, and application development
- Experience or demonstrated interest in Azure DevOps, Databricks, Azure cloud platform, Docker, Pytest, REST APIs, MLOps, MLflow, or Unity Catalog
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, AI agent management, model monitoring, identity and access management, or modern data platforms
Skills
Experience
Confirmed experience in software development, cloud platforms, or data engineering with a demonstrated desire to evolve within an environment combining AI, cloud infrastructure, and industrialization of technical solutions.
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, cloud computing, or equivalent discipline.
