Role & Responsibilities

  • Support industrialisation of fragrance and beauty product lines: translate pilot trials into reproducible production processes and prepare process documentation.
  • Map and analyse production flows to identify bottlenecks, waste and opportunities for cycle‑time and cost reduction.
  • Develop and update work instructions, SOPs and process sheets for operators and technicians.
  • Participate in time studies, line balancing and capacity assessments; quantify gains and propose implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance and R&D to qualify equipment, support trials and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen) and support project tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering programme (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing or equivalent) at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrated experience in process mapping, time studies or similar coursework/projects.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, Kaizen); Six Sigma exposure is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clear technical documentation and present findings to cross‑functional teams.
  • Professional attitude, attention to detail and capacity to work on the factory floor during trials and implementation phases.
  • Fluency in French is highly recommended for on‑site collaboration; professional English is advantageous.
