Role & Responsibilities
- Support industrialization and process definition for cream formulations within the Pôle Crèmes production site.
- Design and optimise production methods, workstations and line layouts to improve flow, yield and safety.
- Develop and author standard operating procedures, work instructions and visual aids for shop-floor use.
- Perform time & motion studies, capacity analyses and cycle-time calculations to validate takt and staffing.
- Contribute to pilot runs, machine set-ups and transfer-to-production activities; support troubleshooting.
- Participate in cross-functional projects with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance to ensure manufacturability.
- Collect and analyse production data; propose and implement continuous-improvement actions (5S/Kaizen/lean).
- Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene and safety standards applicable to cosmetics manufacturing (GMP-aware practices).
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited engineering or technical degree program (industrial, mechanical, chemical or process engineering) on an alternance/work-study track commencing September 2026.
- Demonstrable interest in cosmetics manufacturing and industrialisation.
- Good analytical capability and comfort with numeric data (process metrics, time studies).
- Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and drafting clear work instructions.
- Rigorous approach to safety, quality and production hygiene.
- Availability to be based at the Chamant production site for the duration of the apprenticeship.
Skills
Experience
Previous internships or practical exposure to manufacturing, production engineering or methods roles preferred; prior shop-floor experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in a tertiary engineering or technical programme (B.Sc/B.Eng or M.Sc level) in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering with alternance/work-study eligibility.
