Chanel seeks engineering apprentice for Methods & Continuous Improvement role in makeup production, Chamant, France. September 2026 start.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyze divisional performance indicators and propose continuous improvement solutions, tracking implementation through structured PDCA cycles
  • Support new product and equipment qualification processes to ensure manufacturing reliability
  • Structure and deploy maintenance methodologies including TPM, GMAO, AMDEC, and KAIZEN frameworks across production teams
  • Establish equipment obsolescence management protocols and develop associated investment roadmaps
  • Lead cross-functional projects and coordinate collaborative initiatives within the production department

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering school or equivalent program, preferably with specialization in Maintenance, Lean Management, or Continuous Improvement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and capability to manage large datasets
  • Demonstrated curiosity with field-oriented mindset and proactive problem-solving orientation
  • Strong written communication and synthesis skills for producing project status reports and training modules
  • Excellent listening, communication, and pragmatic approach to supporting continuous improvement initiatives
