Chanel internship in Paris: 6-month merchandising project coordination role supporting wholesale and retail visual standards and point-of-sale operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate maintenance of installations and fixtures across wholesale points of sale, ensuring compliance with Chanel's excellence standards
- Analyze, prioritize, and process service requests submitted through the Yoobic field application platform
- Brief, plan, and coordinate interventions by local decorators in collaboration with external service providers
- Maintain daily communication with commercial teams regarding the status of maintenance requests
- Monitor and analyze budgetary performance of intervention activities
- Track and analyze field team feedback to negotiate optimal visibility and placement with retail partners
- Develop training tools and resources to support commercial teams on image standards and merchandising tools
- Coordinate network updates for retail locations and oversee store openings and refits
- Conduct field visits and competitive intelligence activities
- Contribute to the design and deployment of new retail partner specifications and merchandising concepts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (Bac+4 or Bac+5)
- Demonstrated interest in operational project management with direct field and point-of-sale exposure
- Prior exposure to project management methodologies
- First experience in marketing, merchandising, trade marketing, or retail commerce (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail

Prior exposure to project management or an internship in marketing, merchandising, trade marketing, or retail operations is preferred. First-hand experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing operational timelines is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+4/Bac+5) in marketing, business administration, commerce, or a related field.
