Chanel Merchandising Project Assistant Intern (6 months, Neuilly-sur-Seine): support makeup product launches and regional merchandising strategy.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in creating merchandising briefs for permanent point-of-sale materials aligned with makeup product launches and regional assortments
  • Monitor development timelines and budgets for merchandising projects
  • Update the permanent modules catalogue on IWD
  • Develop and refine regional planograms according to local store configurations
  • Design merchandising information materials and ensure effective distribution to regional teams
  • Generate project documentation including product references, SAP nomenclatures, marketing cards, and concept books
  • Organize and lead monthly regional calls to share merchandising updates
  • Liaise with International Marketing, Creative Direction, Procurement, Regions, and Category Management teams
  • Conduct competitive merchandising surveillance and market needs analysis to inform strategic briefs

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a business school, engineering school, or university programme
  • Passion for client experience, merchandising, or retail topics
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
  • Autonomous, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong organizational skills and project management ability
