Chanel seeks Merchandising Designer in Neuilly-sur-Seine for 3-month contract role in Beauty & Perfumes division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead creative project conception from brainstorming through final deployment, ensuring adherence to Chanel brand codes and project budgets and timelines
- Develop and propose creative directions and material solutions in response to marketing briefs
- Create technical drawings and specifications for point-of-sale displays, window displays, and merchandising fixtures
- Monitor prototyping phases and propose technical adjustments and refinements
- Partner with internal stakeholders—marketing, procurement, and regional teams—to guide design conception and deployment across distribution networks
- Propose technical and creative solutions tailored to local market requirements and channel-specific constraints
Qualifications
- University degree in design, interior architecture, or equivalent discipline
- Approximately 5 years of professional experience in a creative role within luxury beauty or cosmetics
- Expertise in materials (plastics, wood, metals) and manufacturing processes (injection molding, woodworking, thermoforming)
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and 3D design software (SketchUp or Vectorworks)
- Fluency in English for collaboration with regional teams
