Chanel internship: High-End Merchandising & Business Development Assistant in Paris (6 months, January 2027). Manage haute joaillerie and haute horlogerie collections across European luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure proper allocation and assortment of high-end pieces for European events, client presentations, retail rotation, and wholesale accounts across boutique fashion, jewellery retail, and wholesale networks in France, Middle East, and broader Europe
- Monitor and track transfers of haute joaillerie and haute horlogerie in collaboration with stock management and operations teams
- Update and maintain daily stock tracking tools and contribute to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage European market requests related to bespoke allocations (OTOs), including design selection, piece allocation, and alternative propositions based on customer briefs
- Coordinate and oversee after-sales service (SAV) logistics, piece restoration, and gemological certification distribution to markets
- Support the High-End Assortment Coordinator with ad-hoc projects including event assortment coordination, training documentation, visual merchandising liaison, product information management, transfer reporting, regional event stock runner support, and invoice tracking updates
Qualifications
- First significant professional experience in merchandising, operational marketing, or business analysis, preferably within the luxury sector
- Demonstrable passion for haute joaillerie and haute horlogerie
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and professional English
- Proven responsiveness, organisational capability, and ability to work autonomously
