Chanel Materials Engineer Intern, Verneuil-en-Halatte. Support leathergoods production process improvement and materials qualification.
Role & Responsibilities
- Standardize and formalize technical procedures across the Materials Division in partnership with facilitators, trainers, and quality controllers
- Develop training materials and documentation for materials processes and procedures
- Capture and disseminate operational feedback and best practices across teams
- Participate in safety stock aging studies and evaluate leather workability and durability
- Strengthen risk analysis protocols during the product development phase
- Contribute to the enhancement of material qualification processes and test protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree + 4–5 years of study (engineering school, university, or equivalent)
- Specialization in materials science, textile engineering, or leather technology preferred
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and business intelligence software, particularly Power BI
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Collaborative team mindset with practical, fieldwork orientation
Skills
Experience
Exposure to materials development, leather or textile production, or quality assurance processes in a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not mandatory for recent graduates.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+4 to Bac+5) in engineering, materials science, or related discipline. Specialization in textiles or leather technology is preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Verneuil-en-Halatte, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
