Chanel internship: 6-month Marketing Operations Coordinator role supporting fragrance product management in Paris, starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Operational Marketing Manager in the daily management of fragrance lines across feminine and masculine collections
- Develop and refine customer experience strategies and sales force engagement initiatives for new fragrance introductions
- Author and produce point-of-sale support materials and sales enablement documentation
- Manage campaign operations including forecasting, allocation of sales materials and point-of-sale displays, and performance tracking
- Conduct weekly and monthly sell-out data analysis with competitive benchmarking and synthesize findings in comprehensive reports
- Execute ad hoc analyses of NPD panel data (DecisionKey) specific to the fragrances segment
- Monitor and allocate fragrance promotional resources across distribution channels
- Conduct competitive intelligence activities including new product tracking, field research, and mystery shopping initiatives
- Participate in the design and execution of marketing events including seminars, sales force presentations, and distributor meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent (BAC+4/5) in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or related discipline from a university or business school
- First professional experience in operational marketing, preferably within luxury, beauty, or FMCG sectors
- Demonstrated analytical capability with proficiency in data interpretation and synthesis
- Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong creative abilities with proven capability to design impactful, aesthetically polished presentations
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Skills
Experience
First professional experience in operational marketing or a related marketing discipline is preferred, though recent graduates with demonstrated analytical and organizational capabilities are encouraged to apply.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+4/5) or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Management, or related field from a recognized university or business school.
