Chanel seeks a Client Development Manager for its New York flagship boutique. Lead teams, drive client experiences, and represent the brand in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and inspire the retail team to deliver elevated client experiences across all customer segments through active engagement on the selling floor
- Foster a positive and inclusive working environment grounded in feedback, diversity, mutual respect, and collaborative teamwork
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs covering Chanel savoir-faire, product details, and service standards for all team members
- Lead the team with agility and resilience while continuously improving operations based on key performance indicators and performance metrics
- Represent Chanel in the marketplace by developing the client base through community involvement, strategic partnerships with local high-profile businesses, and hosting social and seasonal events
- Provide critical business knowledge and support to the Boutique Director to drive strategic business initiatives
- Maintain boutique image and operational standards while ensuring consistent execution of brand principles
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant retail management, client development, or luxury retail experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse teams in a high-performance retail environment
- Proven expertise in client relationship management and luxury brand clienteling
- Strong understanding of and passion for delivering elevated client experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and work cross-functionally
- Passion for the House of Chanel, its heritage, product offerings, and cultural initiatives
- Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous professional growth
- Physical ability to lift 15 pounds
- Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and select holidays as required by retail operations
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in retail management, client development, or luxury goods retail environments. Demonstrated success coaching and developing retail teams, building client relationships, and driving business results in a boutique or flagship store setting.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 92,400 to USD 130,000 per annum.
