Chanel seeks Management Accountant for Purchasing & CSR in Verneuil-en-Halatte, France. Fixed-term contract from October 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Pilot and animate financial oversight of purchasing activities, including forecasting, actual performance tracking, and variance analysis
- Monitor material supply chain capacity and performance; conduct inventory audits and support stock valuation
- Prepare and deliver 2026 non-financial CSR reporting on carbon footprint and sustainability initiatives
- Serve as primary financial liaison to the site director, providing regular management reporting and business partner insights
- Alert management to potential cost deviations and anomalies in the purchasing and supply chain scopes
- Support the finance department with ad hoc requests and contribute to the development of key financial processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +5) or equivalent
- Proven significant experience as a Management Accountant or Financial Controller
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and analytical mindset with ability to identify and escalate anomalies
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel) and ERP systems (SAP, M3 preferred)
- Comfort working autonomously and directly with executive management

Experience
Significant professional experience working as a Management Accountant or Financial Controller, ideally with exposure to procurement, manufacturing, or supply chain cost control environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent (Bac +5 / higher education level 5)
