Role & Responsibilities
- Support the consolidation and month‑end closing processes for corporate entities, including preparation and review of consolidation entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and deliver internal financial reports and management packs for corporate stakeholders and executive committees.
- Assist in drafting, updating and enforcing accounting and reporting policies to ensure alignment with group standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Produce variance analyses, commentaries and ad hoc financial analyses to explain performance drivers and support decision‑making.
- Coordinate with local finance teams and external advisors to collect financial data, resolve reporting issues and ensure data integrity.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, automation projects and the preparation of audit documentation and schedules.
- Support special projects related to regulatory reporting, systems migrations or policy rollouts as required by the Corporate Finance team.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Master’s programme (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Management Control or related discipline.
- Solid understanding of consolidation practices and accounting principles (IFRS knowledge advantageous).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong presentation skills in PowerPoint.
- Analytical rigour with strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced international environment.
- Professional working proficiency in French with a good command of English preferred.
Experience
Internship-level role: currently completing higher education in finance/accounting with prior internship experience in accounting, consolidation or financial reporting considered an advantage.
Education
Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme in Finance, Accounting, Management Control or a closely related field.
