Chanel Mexico seeks a Makeup Marketing Coordinator to develop makeup marketing strategies, manage campaigns, and coordinate product launches in Mexico City.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned with company objectives and brand positioning
  • Plan and coordinate product launches, relaunch campaigns, events, and point-of-sale activations with supporting 360° promotional strategies
  • Collaborate with suppliers to create and deliver point-of-sale materials including brochures, animation books, teasing cards, and promotional merchandise
  • Oversee the development and installation of promotional stands and display elements in retail and trade environments
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and competitive threats in the beauty sector
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, sales tracking by area/line/SKU, and promotional effectiveness; produce detailed performance reports and recommendations
  • Prepare comparative pricing analysis of Chanel versus competitor offerings for assigned markets
  • Manage the marketing department budget, monitor ROI by campaign, request supplier quotes for approval, and process expense documentation
  • Support the Brand Manager in internal communications with sales organizations and retail partners; assist with presentation development, reporting calendars, and feedback materials
  • Adapt marketing strategies in response to market dynamics and evolving business requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of professional marketing experience, preferably within beauty, cosmetics, or prestige consumer goods
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data and inform strategic decisions based on market and campaign analysis
  • Strong creative capabilities with proven ability to generate innovative marketing campaign concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (required); French language proficiency is advantageous
