Chanel is hiring a Makeup Brand Manager in Mexico City — lead makeup product strategy, launches and P&L for Chanel Beauty in CDMX.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the local makeup brand strategy and annual marketing plan aligned with global directives, ensuring commercial objectives are met.
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: brief development, coordinate R&D and packaging, oversee regulatory compliance and drive assortment decisions for the Mexican market.
- Plan and deliver major product launches and seasonal activations in collaboration with retail, visual merchandising and digital teams.
- Own local P&L and budget management: set targets, monitor performance, and optimise spend across trade, marketing and education.
- Translate consumer insights and market trends into actionable product and communication recommendations; establish KPIs and report performance to regional stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (sales, training, distribution, PR, digital) to ensure consistent brand expression and retail execution.
- Develop and implement retail training and education programmes for boutique teams and wholesale partners to elevate product knowledge and conversion.
Qualifications
- Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in cosmetics, with demonstrable ownership of makeup brand or product management responsibilities.
- Proven track record launching color cosmetics and managing successful go‑to‑market programmes within prestige or luxury beauty.
- Experience with P&L oversight, budgeting and setting commercial targets.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills; experience working across marketing, sales, retail operations and supply channels.
- Fluent knowledge of the local market, trade channels and regulatory environment for cosmetics is expected.

At least five years of experience in the beauty sector, with hands-on responsibility for makeup product launches, commercial planning and cross-functional leadership in a prestige or luxury context.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Cosmetics Science or a related discipline; advanced business qualification (MBA) or specialised training in beauty commerce is advantageous.
