CHANEL is seeking a Makeup Artist for its Selfridges Oxford Street counter in London. The permanent role is 37.5 hours per week, working any five days in seven, and focuses on makeup consultations, client relationships, events and sales while also supporting skincare and fragrance. The role also mentors colleagues and contributes to CHANEL’s sustainability ambitions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build lasting client relationships through tailored, memorable experiences in-store and via digital channels.
- Deliver expert, personalised makeup consultations that captivate and educate clients.
- Confidently share product benefits, category knowledge and application techniques with clients and colleagues.
- Host masterclasses and in-store events to elevate the makeup category.
- Use clienteling and data capture tools to recruit new clients and grow the client portfolio.
- Help achieve individual and counter sales targets and KPIs.
- Promote skincare and fragrance alongside makeup to contribute to the counter’s overall success.
- Lead by example in delivering an excellent client experience; support business growth through innovative events and masterclasses; and mentor and act as an ambassador to colleagues.
- Coach and guide team members on makeup, empowering them to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
- Contribute to CHANEL’s sustainability ambitions across restoring nature and climate, investing in circularity, advancing dignity and prosperity, and promoting women’s autonomy.
