Chanel is seeking a part-time Makeup Artist for its new Fragrance and Beauty Boutique at Burnside Shopping Centre, working 62 hours per fortnight. The role combines sales growth with personalized client experiences, beauty and makeup education, client recruitment and retention, and accurate point-of-sale stock management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create unique and memorable client experiences at every point of sale, using the Chanel experience ritual to exceed expectations.
- Drive sales and business growth through memorable client experiences.
- Share beauty and makeup tips to educate and inspire clients.
- Proactively recruit and retain clients to build a diverse client base.
- Manage point-of-sale stock, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policy.
- Maintain curiosity and proactively pursue self-learning to support career development and the business’s learning culture.
- Contribute to Chanel’s brand image and client relationship promise.
Qualifications
- Makeup qualification as a Makeup Specialist or Artist, with some experience working one-on-one with clients.
- Customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge of current makeup trends and the ability to share that knowledge with clients and the team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish emotional connections with clients.
- Positive approach to daily tasks, ability to work within a team, and eagerness to learn.
Skills
Experience
Some experience working one-on-one with clients; customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Education
Makeup qualification as a Makeup Specialist or Artist.
