Chanel is hiring a Makeup Artist at Birmingham Airport. Provide luxury beauty services, consultations and drive sales in travel retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver bespoke makeup applications and bespoke consultations that reflect Chanel’s luxury standards and product portfolio.
- Recommend and demonstrate beauty products to clients, translating technical product knowledge into personalised solutions and retail sales.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales KPIs while actively contributing to team targets and commercial initiatives specific to travel retail.
- Maintain immaculate presentation of the makeup area and counter, including merchandising, stock replenishment and visual standards.
- Uphold rigorous sanitation and hygiene protocols for tools, brushes and products to meet brand and regulatory requirements.
- Build long-term client relationships through follow-up, clienteling practices and accurate capture of client preferences.
- Participate in brand training, product launches and promotional events; adapt to rotating shifts typical of airport retail operations.
Qualifications
- Professional makeup or cosmetology certification preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in luxury beauty retail or professional makeup artistry.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong interpersonal presence with polished grooming consistent with a high-end luxury brand.

Experience
Previous experience in a luxury beauty counter or professional makeup environment is required; 1–3 years preferred, with a proven track record of client service and sales performance in prestige retail or travel-retail settings.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; professional makeup artistry or cosmetology qualification preferred.
