Chanel is hiring a Beauty Advisor in Johor Bahru—deliver luxury beauty consultations and drive sales for makeup, skincare and fragrance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, consultative beauty and fragrance consultations to a discerning luxury clientele, converting interactions into sales while building long-term relationships.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets and KPIs through targeted clienteling and follow-up.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to recommend solutions tailored to client needs and occasions.
- Maintain boutique standards: merchandising, visual presentation, stock replenishment, hygiene and sample management in line with brand guidelines.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately, manage gifts-with-purchase and maintain client records in the CRM.
- Participate in training, product launches and promotional initiatives; provide feedback from clients to boutique management.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a luxury retail environment.
- Strong consultative selling skills and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
- Impeccable personal presentation, professional demeanour and attention to detail consistent with a luxury brand.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak promotional periods.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling competence; ability to operate a POS system reliably.
Skills
Experience
Experience in retail beauty or cosmetics sales is required; previous experience with a luxury or prestige brand is strongly preferred. Demonstrable success meeting sales targets and building repeat clientele is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; professional certification in cosmetology, makeup artistry or beauty therapy preferred.
