Chanel is recruiting a Maintenance Technician (CDD) for Parfums Beauté in Compiegne. Fixed-term role supporting production equipment and preventive maintenance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on production equipment within the Parfums Beauté site to ensure continuity of manufacturing operations.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and automation faults; implement repairs and restore equipment to production-ready condition.
- Execute periodic inspections, calibrations and adjustments in line with maintenance schedules and quality requirements.
- Document maintenance interventions, update technical files and record spare parts usage in the CMMS.
- Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to troubleshoot recurring failures and drive continuous improvement initiatives (RCA, 5S, TPM).
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers for specialized repairs and spare parts procurement.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety rules, hygiene and cosmetic industry regulations when performing interventions on equipment.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and contribute to qualification activities where required.
Qualifications
- Vocational or technical diploma in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, mechatronics or equivalent (CAP/BEP, Bac Pro, BTS or equivalent).
- French electrical authorization (habilitation électrique) or willingness to obtain it; relevant safety qualifications preferred.
- Practical experience with electromechanical systems, pneumatics and hydraulic components.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and use diagnostic tools.
- Good interpersonal skills and capacity to work collaboratively across production and engineering teams.
Skills
Experience
Practical industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally 2+ years in FMCG, cosmetics or pharmaceutical production. Demonstrated experience restoring production equipment under time constraints and participating in continuous improvement projects.
Education
Technical or vocational diploma in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, mechatronics or equivalent (CAP/BEP, Bac Pro, BTS or similar).
