Chanel seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Chamant, France. Manage cream production equipment maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform curative, preventive, and corrective maintenance on cream production and packaging equipment, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair
- Lead or participate in studies for new equipment installation, qualification, and commissioning phases
- Develop technical documentation, training modules, and conduct operator training on equipment operation and preventive maintenance protocols
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate equipment replenishment with suppliers
- Coordinate planned preventive maintenance interventions with production and relevant departments
- Implement process improvements and resolve user requests for equipment modifications and anomalies (TAIA)
- Participate in equipment validation activities aligned with safety, health, environment, and quality standards
Qualifications
- BAC+2 or BAC+3 qualification in Industrial Mechanics and Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or Automated Systems Design and Implementation
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in industrial maintenance functions
- Advanced competency in electrical engineering, industrial automation, and control systems
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and machine tool operation
- Proficiency with computer tools including Excel and PowerPoint
- Foundational knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance, with demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex production equipment in regulated manufacturing environments.
Education
BAC+2 or BAC+3 in Industrial Mechanics and Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or Automated Systems Design and Implementation (or equivalent qualification).
